Teacher Resources

My friend Keri and I are presenting at the MiAEYC Early Chilhood Conference next weekend. We are presenting on File Cabinet Rebellion-Get your classroom organized!

We have so many friends and collegues that have great organizational ideas to make the classroom functional and clean. We have a few of our own ideas too! So, we put together a presentation of our favorite ideas to help others organize their world.

Here are a few of our topics and Freebie Resources:

We also did a ambush makeover for our fellow first grade teacher Mrs. Jennings. Check out the video! We all have one area that could use some organizing. Life is just too busy. I hope this inspires you!

Math Board

To help with learning and using numbers 10-20, I decided to take this idea I found on Pinterest a step further.
Instead of making a poster for each number as we learned about it, I thought I could make an interactive board. I would use it during my Math lesson and then it could be housed in a Math Workstation so the students could use it.
This is what I came up with:

The students and I love it. It shows many different ways to use and understand each number. I just used an oil pan from walmart and glued magnets on everything so that it can be easily changed.
